Product Overview

PUFFIN: two volumes on a black frame with a gap between them

The sideboard is put together not as a box on legs but as two separate volumes held in the air by a black metal frame: a block of three drawers on top, a block of three doors below, and an open ten centimetre gap between them. The finish is natural oak.

Who it suits

For a living room where the sideboard stands in plain sight and carries the wall. For a dining room with china and cloths, for a study with binders: there is a great deal of closed storage here and it still reads light.

What you will like

three 20 cm drawers in the upper block on soft-close runners
three 30 cm doors in the lower block, hinges also soft-close
an open 10 cm gap between the blocks instead of a blank panel
a 25 mm top and shelf with a 17 mm carcass
21 cm to the floor: the floor shows and no plinth blocks a brush

Length 154 cm, depth 42 cm, height 81 cm. That height is unusual for a sideboard: 81 cm is desk height, and the surface suits not only a lamp but things actually in use.

What is the PUFFIN sideboard made of? Carcass and fronts are furniture board faced with lacquered natural oak veneer, 17 mm overall; the top is the same board at 25 mm. The legs are powder-coated metal, 20 mm in diameter.

Why does the sideboard have a gap in the middle? It breaks a metre and a half of front in two, so the volume stops reading as a solid wall. It is also a handy place for whatever gets picked up daily.

Materials and finish

Board faced with lacquered natural oak veneer: carcass and fronts 17 mm, top and shelf 25 mm. Powder-coated metal legs 20 mm in diameter with height adjustment. Soft-close hinges and runners. Finish: natural oak. Warranty 12 months. BIM Furniture, Poland.

Frequently asked questions

Is lacquered veneer a demanding surface?
The opposite: the lacquer closes the pores, and care comes down to a dry or barely damp cloth. The grain stays visible and matt to the touch.

Will the legs wobble under a carcass that long?
The frame runs the full length rather than holding four corners, and every leg adjusts: on an uneven floor the sideboard levels without packing.

Delivery and Assembly

Delivery Time and Shipping Cost:

Delivery and Assembly:

Attention! The cost of delivery and assembly depends on the type of furniture, delivery address, floor, elevator. Therefore the cost of delivery and assembly is set with the store representative at the time of order confirmation. Payment for supplies and the assembly is paid directly to the carrier on the day of receipt of the goods. Delivery to localities that are far from the center of the country, such as: everything further from Karmiel in the north, everything further from Beersheba in the south and Jerusalem, will charge an additional fee of 150 NIS. Delivery to Eilat will be negotiated individually, having previously checked with a customer service representative. If a crane (manof) is required to transport the goods, the client is obliged to find, order and pay for the crane services himself.

Delivery terms:

Delivery times for each product are specified separately. When calculating delivery times, only working days (from Sunday to Thursday of the week, excluding weekends, bank holidays and public holidays) from the date of receipt of payment from the customer's credit company are taken into account.
There may be delays due to sea delivery when ordering furniture from abroad, which cannot be influenced by the Supplier, in these cases the delivery time will be extended by another 30 working days and will not be considered a delay. However, suppliers make every effort to expedite delivery as much as possible, but, being unable to guarantee this, therefore, the online store is not responsible for any delays.
Furniture from the "Modular Furniture" category is modular, which reserves the right for the Supplier to make delivery as the modules arrive from the factory, within an additional 60 working days after the first delivery of the goods to the customer's home.
