Product Overview

PUFFIN 154: a floating top with an open shelf beneath it

A 25 mm top rests on the black frame and seems to hover: beneath it runs an open shelf the full length, and below that a box of three drawers. Air sits between the levels, so 154 cm of unit does not block the wall. The veneer is finished in natural oak.

Who it suits

For the television in a living room where the equipment has to go away and the look has to stay light. The top is clear for the screen, the shelf takes a console and a soundbar, the drawers swallow cables and remotes.

What you will like

the drawers number three, each 20 cm deep, on soft-close runners
an open shelf the full length between top and drawers
a 25 mm top carried on the frame apart from the box
13 cm from floor to box, leaving the floor in view
adjustable feet so the unit stands level on any floor

It measures 154 by 42 cm and stands 51 cm tall. The top is 4 cm shorter than the overall length: the frame steps out past the carcass and wraps its ends, so the unit looks wider than it takes up.

What television suits the PUFFIN unit? A 150 cm top 25 mm thick carries a television on its own stand. The feet of any common diagonal spread less than the length of that top.

Where do the cables go in this unit? Into the upper drawer and onto the open shelf: the console stands on the shelf and the spare metre of lead drops into the drawer below it.

Materials and finish

Board faced with lacquered natural oak veneer: carcass and fronts 17 mm, top 25 mm. Powder-coated metal legs 20 mm in diameter. Soft-close runners. Finish: natural oak. Warranty 12 months. BIM Furniture, Poland.

Frequently asked questions

Will the open shelf gather dust?
As much as any horizontal surface in the room. In exchange the equipment is reachable and a remote finds the console without bouncing off anything.

Do the drawers run the full depth?
A drawer pulls out far enough to reach the back panel. At 42 cm this is deeper than an ordinary television unit.

Delivery and Assembly

Delivery Time and Shipping Cost:

Delivery and Assembly:

Attention! The cost of delivery and assembly depends on the type of furniture, delivery address, floor, elevator. Therefore the cost of delivery and assembly is set with the store representative at the time of order confirmation. Payment for supplies and the assembly is paid directly to the carrier on the day of receipt of the goods. Delivery to localities that are far from the center of the country, such as: everything further from Karmiel in the north, everything further from Beersheba in the south and Jerusalem, will charge an additional fee of 150 NIS. Delivery to Eilat will be negotiated individually, having previously checked with a customer service representative. If a crane (manof) is required to transport the goods, the client is obliged to find, order and pay for the crane services himself.

Delivery terms:

Delivery times for each product are specified separately. When calculating delivery times, only working days (from Sunday to Thursday of the week, excluding weekends, bank holidays and public holidays) from the date of receipt of payment from the customer's credit company are taken into account.
There may be delays due to sea delivery when ordering furniture from abroad, which cannot be influenced by the Supplier, in these cases the delivery time will be extended by another 30 working days and will not be considered a delay. However, suppliers make every effort to expedite delivery as much as possible, but, being unable to guarantee this, therefore, the online store is not responsible for any delays.
Furniture from the "Modular Furniture" category is modular, which reserves the right for the Supplier to make delivery as the modules arrive from the factory, within an additional 60 working days after the first delivery of the goods to the customer's home.
