The trap when matching a sofa
An armchair is almost always the second purchase, once the sofa is already there. And the mistake is always the same: buying the chair in the same fabric so it matches. Upholstery from different batches varies in shade, and at a different angle to the window the difference only sharpens. It is easier to choose a deliberately different colour than to try to match a tone.
A recliner needs space behind it, not in front. The back tilts rearwards, and if the chair stands against a wall the mechanism simply will not open fully. The clearance is stated on the product page, and it should be checked before ordering rather than after delivery.
