Diverso corner sofa 260 by 182 cm – a button instead of a lever

Diverso is the top upholstery line of the Polish factory UNIMEBEL, and the corner sofa is its centrepiece. Two footrests rise on an electric mechanism and three headrests adjust separately. Whoever is sitting decides whether to sit upright or recline almost flat, and no lever is involved.

Who it suits

A living room where the sofa is for a long evening rather than a short sit. Anyone who struggles with a mechanical recliner: the button settles that completely. And couples who watch television together and disagree about the backrest, since here each side adjusts on its own.

Size and what to keep in mind

The long side is 260 cm, the short one 182 cm. At 79 cm tall it looks light even in a modest living room and does not block the window behind it. The footrests extend forward, so leave about forty centimetres of clear floor in front, otherwise the coffee table has to move every time. A socket is needed beside the sofa.

Fabric and finish

The upholstery is chosen from the full UNIMEBEL fabric catalogue, four groups to pick from. Full-size colour samples are on this page, and the price depends on the group.

Why is an electric recliner better than a mechanical one? The position changes smoothly and stops exactly where it is comfortable, instead of at one of three fixed clicks. Getting up is easier too: the sofa returns to its starting position by itself.

Does Diverso fold out for sleeping? No. It is a sofa for sitting and reclining, with no sleeping surface. If you need a sofa bed, look at Diverso II from the same factory.

Delivery and assembly

Made by the Polish factory UNIMEBEL. We deliver and assemble it ourselves and take the packaging away. Delivery and assembly are paid separately and calculated for your address.

Yes, the mechanism runs on mains power. Plan a socket on the side where the power unit will sit.

What happens during a power cut?
The footrest stays where it was. It can be folded back by hand, and the effort is small.
