INDYGO Shelving Unit 66 cm – open shelves with a closed base, beige front
A shelving unit whose upper part is open and whose base is closed by a door. Three shelves above take books and decor, while behind the lower door sits one more shelf for whatever should not be on display: paperwork, cables, boxes. That arrangement works better than a fully open unit, because the clutter hides and the shelves stay shelves.
A beige lower door does not compete with the books on the open shelves: the colour stays with the spines rather than the furniture.
Who it suits
For a living room beside the TV unit: three open shelves add height while the closed base absorbs the small stuff. For a study or working corner, holding books and folders. For a child's room, where books belong in view and toys and boxes do not.

In numbers that is 66 cm along the wall, 199.5 cm high and 37 cm deep. Each open shelf holds roughly twenty books in a row, or a looser arrangement of frames and objects. Behind the lower door go A4 folders, a document box, or equipment you would rather not see.

Open shelving or a closed base? A fully open unit demands that the shelves always look tidy, because all of it is visible. INDYGO R1K closes off the lower third, and that is where everything unsightly goes. Books and decor stay in view, which is what the unit was bought for.
Can it stand next to the tall cabinet of the collection? Yes, R1D shares the same 66 cm width, the same depth and the same height. Side by side the two read as one arrangement: one open, one closed.
Assembly and delivery
The unit arrives flat-packed with instructions and fittings. The body is tall and narrow, so fixing it to the wall is essential, and assembly is convenient to order with the delivery: the fitter builds it, secures it and takes the packaging away. Delivery and assembly are quoted by address and paid separately.

Will the shelves hold books?
Yes, the shelves are made for books, which is the unit's main purpose. Heavy albums are best placed on the lower shelves, closer to the supports.
Does it need fixing to the wall?
Definitely. At nearly two metres tall and 66 cm wide, tall furniture is not stable without it. The fixings are supplied.

Attention! The cost of delivery and assembly depends on the type of furniture, delivery address, floor, elevator. Therefore the cost of delivery and assembly is set with the store representative at the time of order confirmation. Payment for supplies and the assembly is paid directly to the carrier on the day of receipt of the goods. Delivery to localities that are far from the center of the country, such as: everything further from Karmiel in the north, everything further from Beersheba in the south and Jerusalem, will charge an additional fee of 150 NIS. Delivery to Eilat will be negotiated individually, having previously checked with a customer service representative. If a crane (manof) is required to transport the goods, the client is obliged to find, order and pay for the crane services himself.
Delivery times for each product are specified separately. When calculating delivery times, only working days (from Sunday to Thursday of the week, excluding weekends, bank holidays and public holidays) from the date of receipt of payment from the customer's credit company are taken into account.
There may be delays due to sea delivery when ordering furniture from abroad, which cannot be influenced by the Supplier, in these cases the delivery time will be extended by another 30 working days and will not be considered a delay. However, suppliers make every effort to expedite delivery as much as possible, but, being unable to guarantee this, therefore, the online store is not responsible for any delays.
Furniture from the "Modular Furniture" category is modular, which reserves the right for the Supplier to make delivery as the modules arrive from the factory, within an additional 60 working days after the first delivery of the goods to the customer's home.
