Oliwia M two-seat sofa 138 cm, does not fold out

Oliwia M two-seat sofa 138 cm – a 48 cm seat, you rise as from a chair

The two-seat sofa of Oliwia M. The factory singles out two things about it: strong stitching on the backs and pronounced wooden accents. But the key figure on this page is another one, the seat height: 48 cm.

Who it suits

A home where someone finds it hard to get up from soft furniture. 48 cm is the height of an ordinary chair, and rising from a sofa like this takes no struggle. For comparison: the Oliwia D seat is 42 cm, the H seat 46 cm. A difference of six centimetres tells every day.

What you will like

seat height 48 cm, the highest in the Oliwia family
seat depth 58 cm, so the seat is not shallow either
stitched backs, bent wooden sides
138 cm across, 92 cm deep, a 92 cm back
wood colour and fabric of your choice

Size and what to keep in mind

The combination is unusual: a high seat (48 cm) that is also deep (58 cm). A high seat is normally made shallow, otherwise legs dangle. Here the depth is kept, which suits a tall person, while a shorter one should try it first: the feet may not reach the floor the way they are used to.

Fabric and finish

The upholstery is chosen from the full UNIMEBEL fabric catalogue, four groups to pick from. Full-size colour samples are on this page, and the price depends on the group.

Which sofa is best if getting up is hard? In the Oliwia family, this one: a 48 cm seat, the highest of them. Oliwia H follows at 46 cm. On the low models such as D the seat is 42 cm and rising is harder.

Does this sofa fold out? No, the price list lists it as non-folding. Next to it in the collection there is an Oliwia M folding sofa with a sleeping surface of 184 by 112 cm.

Does the furniture arrive assembled?
No, it arrives packed and our fitters assemble it at your home. They take the packaging away.

Will the stitching come apart over time?
The factory calls it "mocne przeszycia", strong seams: a structural element rather than decorative topstitching. The warranty is 12 months.
