Torino two-seat sofa 148 cm, does not fold out

Torino two-seat sofa 148 cm – the widest two-seater in Torino

A two-seat sofa on high wooden legs with a high back of 101 cm. At 148 cm across it is generous for a two-seater: two people sit with air between them rather than pressed together.

Who it suits

The factory calls it furniture for formal living rooms and public spaces, and so it is: a high back and a body raised on legs look precise. It suits a reception, a study, a hallway, and at home a second upholstered piece beside the sofa bed of the same collection.

What you will like

148 cm across, two people sit freely
a high 101 cm back
seat depth 55 cm, seat height 41 cm
high wooden legs, wood colour of your choice
only 86 cm deep, a shallow sofa

Size and what to keep in mind

It does not fold out, as the factory price list states plainly. The depth of 86 cm is small, and with a high back the seating comes out upright: good for talking and working rather than lying down. A seat height of 41 cm is on the low side for anyone who struggles to stand.

Fabric and finish

The upholstery is chosen from the full UNIMEBEL fabric catalogue, four groups to pick from. Full-size colour samples are on this page, and the price depends on the group.

Does this sofa fold out? No, the price list lists it as non-folding. For a bed, the collection has the Torino sofa bed at 204 cm with a sleeping surface of 188 by 126 cm.

Are the cushions in the photos supplied? Not with the sofa. The factory gives them only with a set of "sofa bed plus two armchairs" or "sofa bed plus one armchair". This sofa is not part of such a set.

Delivery and assembly

Made by the Polish factory UNIMEBEL. We deliver and assemble it ourselves and take the packaging away. Delivery and assembly are paid separately and calculated for your address.

Frequently asked

Does the furniture arrive assembled?
No, it arrives packed and our fitters assemble it at your home. They take the packaging away.

Will two people sit freely?
148 cm across, so yes, two places with room to spare, wider than an ordinary two-seater.

How does it differ from the Torino II sofa?
In width: 148 cm against 141. The back is nearly the same, 101 against 102 cm.
