Replacement modules for under sink systems
An under sink system is bought once every few years; its modules are bought regularly. It is the modules, not the housing, that decide what comes out of the tap.
Why as a set rather than singly
The stages work in sequence: each removes its own share and passes the water on. Change one cartridge while leaving its neighbour spent, and the water still goes through the old module, so the result is set by the weakest link. That is why the manufacturer supplies sets, and why changing the whole lot at once is the right approach.
How to tell it is time
