A NAXXAR chest: three drawers on top and a three door cupboard beneath them. Cashmere, a stone oak inlay and lighting under the top.

Drawers and doors

The upper row goes to three drawers, which take papers, chargers, candles, napkins and the rest of the everyday clutter. A horizontal oak inlay runs below them, and under that sit three doors hiding one volume with a shelf along its whole length. Bulk goes down, everyday things stay in the drawers.

How it reads

149.5 cm across at 89.5 cm high. The top at chest height serves for a lamp, a vase and photographs, while the band of oak cuts the pale plane so the chest never reads as a solid panel.
