Product Overview

Cyprus kitchen island - an open niche in the middle and quiet hinges

Cyprus stands out for one planning detail: an open niche is left in the centre of the body. That is where you keep what you reach for ten times a day, towels, serving tools, decorative pots, without opening a door each time. Add Silent Slam hinges, deep drawers and shelves inside the doors.

Who it suits

A kitchen that wants storage and looks together: a white body with a wooden top works in both contemporary and country rooms. A second scenario is a small flat, where the island serves as a breakfast table for two. A third is anyone who entertains: with the leaf up the island becomes a coffee counter or a small bar, both of which the supplier names.

What you will like

An open central niche keeping everyday items within reach
Silent Slam hinges, so doors close without banging
Deep, practical drawers
Shelves inside the doors, using every bit of space
A drop leaf worth 30 centimetres more, used as a bar counter
An MDF finish resistant to scratches

Dimensions and what fits

Width 139 centimetres, body depth 45, height 95. The drop leaf adds 30 centimetres of depth. At 95 centimetres it sits slightly above a standard kitchen counter, which is comfortable to work at standing but means you need bar stools rather than chairs.

Materials and quality

MDF on top, protected by a scratch resistant coating. The manufacturer puts it without ceremony: life moves on and knives sometimes slip off the board. Carcass white, top in a wood shade. Guarantee: 12 months.

What goes in the open niche? Whatever you reach for constantly: kitchen towels, serving tools, decorative pots. The point of the niche is not opening a door twenty times while cooking.

What are Silent Slam hinges? A soft close mechanism. The door slows at the end of its travel and shuts silently.

Assembly and delivery

Ships flat with instructions. Assembly can be ordered on top.

Frequently asked questions

Does the furniture arrive assembled?
No, the island arrives flat packed with instructions. Professional assembly can be ordered separately.

Is 95 centimetres too tall?
It is slightly above the standard 92 centimetre kitchen counter. Working standing up is comfortable, but you will need bar stools rather than ordinary chairs.

Does the open niche collect dust?
It does, like any open shelf. Keep things you use daily there and the dust never gets time to settle.

You can order the Cyprus island online and we deliver across Israel. In Netanya and Herzliya it goes into open plan kitchens, where the island is visible from the living room and has to look tidy from every side.

Delivery and Assembly

Delivery Time and Shipping Cost:

Delivery and Assembly:

Attention! The cost of delivery and assembly depends on the type of furniture, delivery address, floor, elevator. Therefore the cost of delivery and assembly is set with the store representative at the time of order confirmation. Payment for supplies and the assembly is paid directly to the carrier on the day of receipt of the goods. Delivery to localities that are far from the center of the country, such as: everything further from Karmiel in the north, everything further from Beersheba in the south and Jerusalem, will charge an additional fee of 150 NIS. Delivery to Eilat will be negotiated individually, having previously checked with a customer service representative. If a crane (manof) is required to transport the goods, the client is obliged to find, order and pay for the crane services himself.

Delivery terms:

Delivery times for each product are specified separately. When calculating delivery times, only working days (from Sunday to Thursday of the week, excluding weekends, bank holidays and public holidays) from the date of receipt of payment from the customer's credit company are taken into account.
There may be delays due to sea delivery when ordering furniture from abroad, which cannot be influenced by the Supplier, in these cases the delivery time will be extended by another 30 working days and will not be considered a delay. However, suppliers make every effort to expedite delivery as much as possible, but, being unable to guarantee this, therefore, the online store is not responsible for any delays.
Furniture from the "Modular Furniture" category is modular, which reserves the right for the Supplier to make delivery as the modules arrive from the factory, within an additional 60 working days after the first delivery of the goods to the customer's home.
