Clasik VIII folding sofa 162 cm, sleeping surface 190x145

Clasik VIII folding sofa 162 cm – a bed 145 cm wide

A folding sofa with a sleeping surface of 190 by 145 cm, the width of a proper double bed rather than "a sofa you can spend a night on". The factory writes that the sleeping function pulls out, and that it does so simply.

Who it suits

A living room that becomes a bedroom for two every night. And a flat with no separate bedroom: at 162 cm across the sofa does not take the whole wall, yet opens into a bed of normal width.

What you will like

sleeping surface 190 by 145 cm, the width of a double bed
a pull-out mechanism that opens simply
seat depth 57 cm, seat height 43 cm
162 cm across, 96 cm deep, a 100 cm back
high-grade foam seats

Size and what to keep in mind

The mechanism pulls out, so the bed comes forward and the 190 cm are needed in front of the sofa rather than behind. Allow almost 2.9 metres of clear floor from the wall. 145 cm of width is more than most folding sofas, which usually give 110 to 130 cm, but it is not the limit at UNIMEBEL: the MAX X collection has a sleeping surface 155 cm wide.

Fabric and finish

The upholstery is chosen from the full UNIMEBEL fabric catalogue, four groups to pick from. Full-size colour samples are on this page, and the price depends on the group.

What is the sleeping surface on this sofa? 190 by 145 cm. For comparison, an ordinary folding sofa gives 110 to 130 cm, a place for one. Here the width is that of a double bed.

What does a "pull-out mechanism" mean? The bed does not unfold like a book but slides forward on a carriage. The factory writes that it is done simply. It does not disclose the construction.

Delivery and assembly

Made by the Polish factory UNIMEBEL. We deliver and assemble it ourselves and take the packaging away. Delivery and assembly are paid separately and calculated for your address.

Frequently asked

Does the furniture arrive assembled?
No, it arrives packed and our fitters assemble it at your home. They take the packaging away.

Where does the bedding go?
The factory does not list a bedding box on this model. We will ask the supplier before promising it.

Will three people sit on it?
162 cm across; the price list calls it a three-seater, but that is three places with nothing to spare. For three in comfort, look at the 207 cm sofa bed.

Polish furniture in Israel: we deliver to Jerusalem, Ashdod and across the country, and will work out the space for opening it in advance.
