JANTAR sideboard 180 cm: three drawers one side, two doors the other

The most practical chest in the collection. On one side a block of three pull out drawers, then a vertical decorative band, and on the other two doors with closed storage behind them. That split solves the standing problem of a chest with doors only: small things stop piling up on a shelf and get drawers of their own. The carcass rides on black metal legs.

What it is made of

Who it suits

A dining room: cutlery, napkins and the small change of laying a table go into the drawers, crockery and the rarely used behind the doors. A living room where the chest also holds papers, chargers and remotes. A bedroom, if the wardrobe is already full and the linen wants drawers of its own. Size and what fits

In figures: 180 cm of front, 52 cm of depth, 77 cm of height. The drawers run the full depth, so they take more than flat objects. The three drawers divide their section vertically, the door compartments occupy the rest of the length.

How it sits in the room

The drawers want clear space roughly equal to the depth of the carcass, so half a metre and a little more. That is more than a hinged door needs, and in a narrow passage the drawers are what will catch first. Facing a sofa they are the better arrangement: pull one out and everything is in sight.

Materials and finish

Oak and nothing but: solid in the load bearing parts, natural veneer on board. Rustic oak finish under lacquer. Assembled in Poland at the MEBIN factory, twelve month warranty.
