JANTAR bar cabinet: a lit display at eye level

The mid height piece of the collection at 149 cm: lower than a display cabinet and clearly taller than a chest. The lit glass compartment sits at roughly eye level, so the glassware is visible as you walk past rather than only when you step right up to it. Beside it are closed compartments and a vertical decorative strip, and below are black metal legs.

Size and what fits

Dimensions: 111 cm long, 45 cm deep, 149 cm tall. The top edge is at a height where pouring needs no stooping. A depth of 45 cm takes bottles upright and crockery in two rows. Above the cabinet the wall is still free for a picture or a mirror.

How it sits in the room

A top of 111 by 45 cm works as a serving surface: a tray of glasses and a bottle fit on it with room to spare for a lamp. At 149 cm it stands higher than a standard kitchen worktop, so pouring is comfortable. Plan a socket nearby, since the lighting needs power.

Materials and finish
