JANTAR TV unit 220 cm: a long line beneath the screen

The longest unit in the collection. Two metres twenty of oak along the wall under a television produces exactly the effect such a piece is bought for: the screen stops hanging in empty space and gains a base. Two drawers and two doors, a vertical decorative band between the sections, black metal legs below.

What it is made of

• two pull out drawers
• two doors with closed compartments
• vertical band of your choice: oak, black lacobel glass, marble-look HPL or an amber panel with lighting
• plain fronts released by a sunken dark groove
• splayed supports in black steel
• a top panel running the length without a seam

Who it suits

A large living room where the wall under the television is long and a short unit would look accidental on it. A room where a full height wall unit is not wanted: one long cabinet does the same job and leaves the wall free. And anyone who needs to hide a set top box, a router and boxes of cables so that nothing shows. In Israel a piece like this is usually chosen on a screen and delivered to the door.

Size and what fits

Length 220 cm, depth 52 cm, height 52 cm. A television on a unit like this sits at a comfortable height for watching seated: the centre of the screen lands about at eye level from the sofa. A depth of 52 cm takes a soundbar, a box and cartons without bulging into the room.

How it sits in the room

Two hundred and twenty centimetres is a size worth measuring the wall for in advance: the unit is longer than most sofas. The drawers want about half a metre of clear space in front. The factory does not describe cable openings and none are visible in the images, so we will not promise them: we are asking the supplier.
