INDYGO Desk 138 cm – two drawers and a generous work surface, green front

A desk with a genuine work surface: 138 cm across takes a laptop, a monitor and still leaves room for papers on the side. Two drawers on metal ball-bearing full-extension runners sit under the top on the right, while the rest of the space underneath stays clear, so your legs never meet a pedestal. The body is warm Wotan oak with drawer fronts in a muted green.

A finish with character: Wotan oak on the body and a muted green on the drawer fronts. The green is deep and matt, lifting the work corner without turning it into a bright patch.

Who it suits

For working from home, when the desk stands in a living room and should not look like office furniture. For a school pupil or a student: 53 cm of depth holds notebooks and textbooks, and the standard 75 cm height suits an ordinary chair. In a bedroom this desk often doubles as a dressing table with a mirror above it.

What you will like

Two drawers on metal ball-bearing full-extension runners that pull out completely, so nothing hides at the back
Slim metal handles in matt gold that stay in the background
Clear space under the top on the left: room for a mobile pedestal or simply for your legs
Laminated board that shrugs off scratches from devices and stationery
138 cm of width, enough for a monitor and working papers rather than a single device
It sits naturally beside the shelving units, chests and wall shelf from the same collection

Sizes and what fits

Overall size: 138 cm across, 53 cm from front to back, 75 cm tall. The depth allows a monitor at a comfortable viewing distance with the keyboard in front of it. The drawers hold A4 documents in a folder, chargers, stationery and small devices.

Materials and build

Body and top in laminated chipboard with a Wotan oak decor, drawer fronts in a muted green. The edge is banded all round and the surface takes a damp cloth without trouble. Hardware is metal throughout: ball-bearing runners and matt gold handles. GALA MEBLE has manufactured in Poland since 1980. Warranty 12 months.

How wide should a home office desk be? From 120 cm if you keep a monitor and a keyboard on it. INDYGO B2S gives you 138 cm: a laptop with an external monitor fits, and a strip on the right stays free for paperwork, which is exactly what 100 to 110 cm desks never have.

Is this desk suitable for a schoolchild? Yes, the 75 cm height is designed for a standard chair and works for teenagers. Full-extension drawers help a child see the contents at once instead of emptying everything onto the floor.

Assembly and delivery

The desk arrives flat-packed with instructions and all the fittings. There are a fair number of parts, so most people order assembly with delivery: the fitter builds it in place, checks the drawer action and takes the packaging away. Delivery and assembly are quoted by address and paid separately. Polish furniture can be ordered online, with no trip to a showroom.

Frequently asked

Does it arrive assembled?
No, the desk ships flat-packed and unassembled, with instructions and all the fixings. You can build it yourself, but ordering assembly with delivery is simpler.

Are the drawers enough for documents?
They take A4 folders and paperwork. If you keep a lot of documents, add the R1K or R1D shelving unit from the same collection, which has four shelves for files.

Can I put a pedestal on the other side?
Yes, the space under the top on the left is clear, since the drawers occupy only the right-hand side. A mobile pedestal or a PC tower fits there.

More about this piece

Laminated chipboard

Wood particles pressed into a solid board and faced with laminate on both sides. The workhorse of cabinet furniture: holds its shape, tolerates everyday moisture, wipes clean.

Mirror panel

Set into a front or a door, it visually widens the room and adds light, which is why it turns up most often in hallways and bedrooms.

Matt finish

No reflections, and it hides fingerprints and light scratches. In a small room it reads calmer than gloss.

Manufacturer warranty

The factory warranty runs 12 месяцев from delivery. It covers material and assembly defects, but not natural wear or damage caused by misuse.

Made in Poland

Shipped straight from the factory, built to European furniture manufacturing standards.
