INDYGO Wardrobe 138 cm – three doors and three linen drawers, beige front

The roomiest wardrobe in the collection. Two side compartments hold a rail and a shelf each, the middle has three shelves, and beneath them sit three drawers on metal full-extension runners. Those drawers solve what turns into a pile on the top shelf of an ordinary wardrobe: underwear, socks and small items lie apart and come out without dismantling everything above.

Beige fronts across nearly a metre and a half keep the wardrobe light: three dark doors in a row would read as a wall.

Who it suits

For a bedroom shared by two: the side compartments with their rails divide between you, while the drawers stay common. For anyone who would rather not stand a wardrobe and a chest side by side, since both jobs live in one body here. For a teenager's room that needs plenty of storage against a single free wall.

What you will like

Three linen drawers on metal full-extension runners
Two rails in the side compartments, so two people's clothes stay separate
Three shelves in the middle for folded garments
53 cm deep, so hangers sit crossways and clothes do not rub the back panel
Metal handles in matt gold on both doors and drawers
Laminated board that resists scratches

Sizes and what fits

In numbers that is 138 cm across, 199.5 cm high and 53 cm from front to back. The two rails give around a metre and a half of hanging space between them, the three central shelves take folded clothes, and the three drawers hold linen and small items. In volume that is a wardrobe and a chest in one body, which is why a bedroom often needs nothing else.

Materials and build

Laminated chipboard with edges banded all round and a surface that takes damp cleaning. Drawer runners and handles are metal, the handles finished in matt gold. GALA MEBLE has made furniture in Poland since 1980. Warranty 12 months.

A wardrobe with drawers, or a wardrobe plus a chest? With only one wall available the wardrobe with drawers wins: it occupies 138 cm instead of 90 plus 90 and delivers the same. A separate chest earns its place when you also want a work surface on top, for a lamp or a mirror.

What goes in the drawers and what on the shelves? Drawers take what disappears in a pile: underwear, socks, belts, odds and ends. Shelves suit jumpers, shirts and bedding, the things that stack neatly and stay in order.

Assembly and delivery

The wardrobe arrives flat-packed and unassembled, with instructions and fittings. It is a large piece, three doors need aligning and the drawers need adjusting, so assembly is nearly always ordered with delivery. The fitter builds it in place and removes the packaging. Delivery and assembly are quoted by address.

Frequently asked

Does it arrive assembled?
No, it ships unassembled. For a body this wide, assembly is best ordered together with delivery.

Will it get into the room?
Yes, it travels flat-packed and is built on the spot. Nothing has to be carried through whole; you only need 140 cm or more of wall space.

Does it need fixing to the wall?
Yes, the fixing is supplied and is essential for tall furniture. The fitter installs it during assembly.

More about this piece

Laminated chipboard

Wood particles pressed into a solid board and faced with laminate on both sides. The workhorse of cabinet furniture: holds its shape, tolerates everyday moisture, wipes clean.

Matt finish

No reflections, and it hides fingerprints and light scratches. In a small room it reads calmer than gloss.

Manufacturer warranty

The factory warranty runs 12 месяцев from delivery. It covers material and assembly defects, but not natural wear or damage caused by misuse.

Made in Poland

Shipped straight from the factory, built to European furniture manufacturing standards.
