JANTAR table 60 cm: a square that goes anywhere

A small square table half a metre tall. Its construction matches the larger 120 cm version: a top, a shelf beneath, four legs tapering downwards. The difference is in purpose. This one is taken not as the centre of a living room but as the piece you pull up: to an armchair, to the end of a sofa, between two seats.

Who it suits

Size and what fits

A 60 by 60 cm square at 50 cm high. The top takes a tray with two cups and a pot, the shelf below swallows magazines or remotes. The height matches the arm of many sofas, so the table works as a side table.

How it sits in the room

Sixty centimetres is a size that can be moved with one hand, which is the whole point: today by the armchair, tomorrow by the sofa. The top is a true square, 60 by 60 cm, so the table sits equally well on any side and never has to be turned to suit the spot.

The lower shelf matters more on a small table than on a large one: the upper plane is only 60 by 60 cm, and piling everything onto it leaves no room for a cup. The shelf takes the magazines and the remotes and keeps the top clear.
