JANTAR sideboard 140 cm on a plinth: short and dense

The smallest chest in the collection in its quietest form. A continuous timber base, two doors, a band between them, 71 cm of height. Without a gap underneath the piece looks heavier than its hundred and forty centimetres, and that works in its favour: a small chest stops looking accidental.

Who it suits

The hall of a small flat, where the chest is both a shelf for keys and a cupboard for shoes. A bedroom under a window with a low sill. A teenager’s room: closed storage with no handles or projections for clothes to catch on. And as a companion to a JANTAR display cabinet, if everything in the room was taken on plinths.

Size and what fits

It takes 140 cm of wall, reaches 52 cm into the room and stands 71 cm high. The two compartments halve the length. The depth is serious for so short a chest: standard storage boxes go inside, not only flat objects.

How it sits in the room

Seventy one centimetres is the height at which the chest passes under most window sills and does not stop a window opening. In a hall, allow for the depth: half a metre of carcass narrows the passage noticeably and the door should open the other way. The plinth meets the floor tightly, leaving no gap behind the piece.

Materials and finish

The oak is real, solid and as veneer on board. Rustic oak finish under lacquer, plinth in the same timber. Built by MEBIN in Poland, twelve month warranty.

Who delivers and sets it up?
Our fitters: we bring it and put it in place. The furniture is solid wood and heavy — check the doorway, stairs and lift in advance.

Will it fit a narrow corridor?
A depth of 52 cm is a lot for a corridor under a metre and a half. Measure the passage before ordering; after installation it is late to move it.

Will the tone match other JANTAR pieces?
The finish is the same across the collection, rustic oak. The veneer figure differs on every door, because it is natural timber and not a print.

Attention! The cost of delivery and assembly depends on the type of furniture, delivery address, floor, elevator. Therefore the cost of delivery and assembly is set with the store representative at the time of order confirmation. Payment for supplies and the assembly is paid directly to the carrier on the day of receipt of the goods. Delivery to localities that are far from the center of the country, such as: everything further from Karmiel in the north, everything further from Beersheba in the south and Jerusalem, will charge an additional fee of 150 NIS. Delivery to Eilat will be negotiated individually, having previously checked with a customer service representative. If a crane (manof) is required to transport the goods, the client is obliged to find, order and pay for the crane services himself.

Delivery terms:

Delivery times for each product are specified separately. When calculating delivery times, only working days (from Sunday to Thursday of the week, excluding weekends, bank holidays and public holidays) from the date of receipt of payment from the customer's credit company are taken into account.
There may be delays due to sea delivery when ordering furniture from abroad, which cannot be influenced by the Supplier, in these cases the delivery time will be extended by another 30 working days and will not be considered a delay. However, suppliers make every effort to expedite delivery as much as possible, but, being unable to guarantee this, therefore, the online store is not responsible for any delays.
Furniture from the "Modular Furniture" category is modular, which reserves the right for the Supplier to make delivery as the modules arrive from the factory, within an additional 60 working days after the first delivery of the goods to the customer's home.

Returns/Exchanges and Cancellations Policy

Returns / Exchanges / Cancellations

Cancellations: If you wish to cancel the order, it can be canceled within 24 hours without a cancellation fee, after which a cancellation of a transaction will be charged a cancellation fee of approximately 35% of the total order.

Return: Furniture cannot be returned as they are custom imported.

Replacements: If you ordered an item and it turned out that it was not the right size, you can arrange a replacement as needed, provided that the manufacturer allows you to change the size of this model.
