FLY 30: a long unit under the screen, Hickory Jackson

This is the module most FLY walls start from: 160 centimetres long, 30 high and 40 deep. It hangs on the wall and never touches the floor, so a vacuum or a robot cleaner passes underneath. One continuous front with no handle, press it and it lifts.

What it consists of

Three compartments sit inside, split by partitions: a section on the left and the right for set top boxes and cable boxes, with room for a soundbar in the middle. There are no shelves inside and the compartment height stays the same along the run. The flap rises and rests on two gas stays, so nothing has to be held by hand. The module weighs 29 kg.

Who it suits

For anyone hanging the television on the wall who wants the electronics out of sight beneath it. The module works alone and alongside the display cabinets or shelves of the range. It is a common pick for a rented flat: one pair of brackets in the wall and the screen zone is done.
