FLY A1: a closed composition over 260 centimetres, black gloss

A set in which nothing is put on show. Two identical solid columns stand at the ends, a pair of shelves runs between them and a long unit for the screen sits below. No glass, no lighting, only flat planes and an empty floor beneath the whole wall.

What it consists of

Two columns of 40 by 170, each with three shelves, which makes four bays apiece. A unit of 160 centimetres with a lift up flap and three compartments inside. Two wall shelves of differing length, hung level with the screen or offset by 20 centimetres either way. The set weighs 96 kg in total.

Who it suits

For a room that already carries enough visual noise without display cabinets: a patterned rug, pictures, books on view. The second common case is a family with toddlers, where glass doors at child height are simply not wanted.

Materials and finish
